They only make it in cans nowadays, and with HFCS. Sadly. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets phased out in the near future. Like, Sun Rise sodas were phased out a few years ago when the Coca Cola Winona MN bottler stopped doing returnables; and, Sun Rise has not been resurrected since then, and probably won't any time soon. That's the thing with these old timey sodas. Big companies would rather have these phased out so they could focus on their main brand (A&W), and not offer diversity. It's been a while since I ordered from Ralphs, but am considering looking into them or Walmart (I heard you can order through Walmart). As long as it's not crazy expensive, I'll buy. I hope your're having a fun time at Real Soda in Real Bottles. Continue going there, especially during this COVID time. If you go to Soda4u.com, you can order soda through there. It's Real Soda's online service, and if you order 120 bottles or more, you can get free shipping, depending where you live. If you have any technical questions, you should reach out to Danny Ginsburg - CEO of Real Soda. I believe he has a facebook, or is in charge of the Real Soda facebook. Most knowledgeable man in soda; and, especially soda politics. I love soda politics! Watch Bottled Up: The Battle Over Dublin Dr. Pepper. A must watch in the soda politic war. Otherwise, I suppose there's always giving Amazon a try...? The case that they had on the shelf at The Root Beer Store was your standard/supermarket/12-pack/cardboard case, so it would seem that it's at least sold like that somewhere. The person at the store didn't know where the case was purchased from, and I didn't actually ask her if I could buy a whole case anyways, since I would have had to ship it to CA. Given that I had already bought a whole case of other things, I couldn't really justify the cost of shipping even more stuff back home :P

I'd also be curious to see if it comes in glass; I only remember seeing it in a can, even when I was a kid (I can't even remember if I'd ever seen it in 2-liter plastic bottles).Winhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09882875311453552715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5407554619880454954.post-8430682693030092322015-10-25T15:44:56.590-07:002015-10-25T15:44:56.590-07:00I too like this root beer. I do that every once in a while, because I crave the flavor of this stuff. I too agree that the taste is very generic-original tasting; however, it is done very very well. I would love to try this stuff in a glass bottle with cane sugar though. I gave this one a 4. It has a nice strong flavor without tasting weird.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
